Best Bedroom Candles

Your bedroom is your sacred space, and it needs to be scented appropriately. The wrong scent can create the wrong vibes, and the bedroom is the ultimate good-vibe room.

Things to avoid:

We don't love citrus-scented candles in the bedroom. Citrus scents are naturally uplifting, which is great for your mood, but not for falling asleep. They're great for giving you a boost and helping you focus. We love citrus-scented candles in the kitchen, bathroom, or office instead.

Avoid using the bedroom to test out a new scent. The entryway of the home is a better place to light candles (especially new ones) because the fragrance will get dispersed throughout your home without scenting the bedroom.

Things to look for:

The bedroom is a place to get cozy! Fill it with soft fabrics, fuzzy blankets, good lighting, and great candles. We love woodsy scented candles, vanilla scented candles, and grounding candles in the bedroom. The bedroom is also a great place to switch to wax melts and a wax warmer or a candle lamp, so you don't forget to blow out your candles before bed.

When you're lighting candles in the bedroom, make sure you give the candle enough time to form a full melt pool, which can take ~90 minutes with our regular sized candles. Otherwise, your candle will tunnel.

Candles are great in every room, but choosing the right scent for the right room is key to maximizing the cozy vibes in your home.
